He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Marie (Callahan) and Floyd Conrad Dietz; and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jane Dietz; his children, Stephanie Archer (Phil Archer) of Merritt Island, Dr. Matt Dietz (Renee) of Chicago and Deryck Dietz (Jessica) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Savannah, Tristan Markland, Zachary, William, Grant, Elaina Dietz, Julian, Emerson, Cameron Dietz, Amanda and Cody Archer; and his great grandchild Bryson Markland.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church (5655 Stadium Pkwy, Melbourne, FL 32940). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grand Isle Clubhouse (1910 Grand Isle Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32940).
