He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Ilo and Thomas W. Howard; his sisters, Madelyn and Sharon; and his children-in-law, Howard Drawdy and April Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Peggy Ruffin (Cal), Gayle Kennedy (Jim), Suzie Howard, Frederick "Bud" Howard, Wayne P. Martin and Darren Martin (Leanne); his sister Janie Skinner (Bill); and his brother-in-law Charles Boland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wacissa Pentecostal Holiness Church (152 Tram Rd, Wacissa, FL 32361). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Tom and his life, the family request donations be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32308.
