She is survived by: her son Guss Carlton; and her siblings, Leslie Brown, Ruby Brown, Gloria Brown, Jeanette Brown, Curtis Brown, Tommy Logan, Johnny Brown and Carl Brown. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
