She is survived by: her son Michael Todd Maddox (Kitty) of Zolfo Springs, Florida; her siblings, Glenn Hunter (Rachel) of Tallahassee and Shirley Spaulding (Lee) of Lake Placid, Florida.; her grandsons, Dustin Maddox (Lydia) and Wyatt Maddox; her former husband Jeff Maddox; and her husband Rusty Garner.
Jo Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula, and American Cancer Society.
