He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Nicholson and Opal Hawkins Nicholson; and his brother Jim Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Nicholson; his children, Cindy Thornton (Johnny) of Sebring, FL and John K. Nicholson Jr. (Donia) of Zolfo Springs, FL.; his grandchildren, Courtney Nickerson (Holden) and Danielle Abbott (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Piper Nickerson, Bennett Nickerson and Charleigh Abbott.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bowling Green City Cemetery (4858 Bryan Ave, Bowling Green, FL 33834). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests. Memorial Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice House, Sebring, FL.
