She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard and Mattie Carter; and her husband Cecil W. Redding. She is survived by : her daughters, Lois Redding, Renee McClenithan (Ross) and Beckie Johnson (David); her siblings, Edith Carter Myers, Bobby Carter, Shirley Smith (Ray), Jeanette Carter Nord and Climmie Batts; and her grandchildren, Brenton McClenithan (Kimberly), Brek McClenithan (Lacey), Lacey Illes (Bruce), Caterina and Violet Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Somers Hospice House, 1110 Hammock Rd. Sebring, FL. 33873 (863) 402-1066.
