It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Laurell Harvey of Wausau, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Smith and Lillie Mae Smith (Taylor); her husband Horace P. Harvey; her son Randy Harvey; and her siblings, Emmitt Smith, Jaunell Owens and Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Harvey (Lynn), Peter Harvey, Horace P. Harvey Jr. and Everett Harvey (Merisha); her grandchildren, Teresa Kapoi, Kayla Harvey, Jessica Harvey, Christina Thrash (Shawn), Aiden Harvey, Kimberly Gourley (Steve), Jeremiah Harvey (Sabine), Wyatt Harvey, Katie Harvey, Justin Harvey (Anita), Keiran, Zane Harvey, Shawn Harvey, Amber Harvey, Kayleigh Harvey, Betty Harvey, Jason Harvey and Jordan Harvey; her great grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Eli, Malakai, Madison, Ethan, Emily, Alejandro and Knox; and her sister Mary Ellen Barnes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
