He was predeceased by: his parents, Livigor Sasser and Pauline Hines Sasser; his wife Joyce Sasser; his siblings, James Sasser, Harold Sasser and Joyce Bush; and his brother-in-law Lamar Newsome.
He is survived by: his son Ray Iley Sasser (Mary Cay); his grandson Jason Ray Sasser (Charity); his great grandchildren, Trey Iley Sasser and Carlee Mae Sasser; his siblings, Jack Sasser (Suzanne), Linda Newsome, Vickie Hart (Tony) and Connie Hobbs (Mike); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Sasser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hodges Family Funeral Home - Dade City (11441 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525).
