With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Gail Preston of Weeki Wachee, Florida, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Strickland and Alma Strickland (Rackley). She is survived by : her husband William C. "Chuck" Preston, III; and her children, Scott Foxworth, Stephanie Stonebridge, Shannon Preston and Tara Williams. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made to the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at Christian Church in the Wildwood.
