She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles E. Hampton, Sr. and Mamie Ruth Hampton; her husband Reverend Leonard Scott; her brothers, Thadious and Charles Hampton, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Patricia Scott DeLeon.
She is survived by : her son Sammy Hancock (Shyreen) of Temescal Valley, CA.; her siblings, Sharon O'neal (Jimmie) of Johnson, FL., Ursula H. Goodrum of Pompano Beach, FL. and Lester Wayne Smith (Denise); her aunt Dorothy H. Green of Orange Springs, FL.; her stepsons, Patrick Scott (Cassandra) of Ocala, FL. and Vincent Scott of Johnson, FL.; her siblings-in-law, Earlene Scott of Weirsdale, FL., Raymond Scott (Mary) of Wildwood, FL. and Samuel L. Scott (Margie) of El Paso, TX; her grandson Anthony DeLeon; and her goddaughters, Jacqueline Forshee (Earl) of Summerfield and Anaysah Jenkins of Gainesville, FL.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
