With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Drasner of Wellington, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Drasner and David Drasner. He is survived by: his wife Lora Drasner; his brother Ken Drasner (Ann); his daughters, Johanna Haban (Paul) and Amanda Drasner; and his pet Windsor.

“Fred worked w/ Mort Zuckerman in publishing. I worked w/ Mort at BXP. Fred was a bit older than me but I loved him the minute I met him. Smart, savvy and really funny. A great lawyer and character whose zest for life made him irresistible. I left BXP in 2003 and hadn't seen Fred since then. Then one day he walked into my office in Wellington about 5 years ago and said hello. He had just brought his dog to the vet next door. So nice to have got to spend more time w/ him! Everyone will miss him.”
