He is survived by: his wife Clara Colón Acevedo; his children, Abigail Acevedo, Cindy Acevedo-Vega, Jonathan Acevedo and David Acevedo; his stepsons, Lenny Irizarry and Alex Narvaez; and his siblings, Melvin Acevedo, Rebecca Reyes, Edwin Acevedo, Freddy Acevedo and Yvonne Rosa. He is also survived by grandchildren, extended family members, and many dear friends.
A committal service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449).
