He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Carlson and Frances Carlson (Hayes). He is survived by: his wife Maxine Carlson (Broxey); his son Scott A. Carlson (Laura); his grandchildren, Christian Carlson, Caya Carlson and Coral Carlson; his siblings, Jacki Moore of Savannah and Mark Carlson of Cedar Rapids; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa (Cover), Loya (Joe), Tracey (Cover), Sargent (Mark), Molly O'Brien (Shane), Monica Freiburger (Dan Freiburger) and Matt Carlson (Hillary). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lexington Oaks Community Clubhouse (26304 Lexington Oaks Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544).
