He was predeceased by: his parents, William Standifer "Bill" Smith of Blakely and Carolyn Pullen Carter of Tallahassee. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Gall Smith; the mother of his children Angie Alexander Smith; his sons, Lex Smith (Kelly) and Lance Smith (Lori); his grandchildren, Makenna Smith Diaz, Abigail Smith Nelson, Ty Smith and Ethan Smith; his siblings, Kent Smith of Blakely, Terry Hoover and Frances Garner of Tallahassee; and his stepchildren, Chris Burns and Karen Rutledge. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
