He was predeceased by: his parent Bartow Daniel Ragsdale. He is survived by: his fiancée Cynthia Ellis Saunders; his mother Beverly Born Long Turner (Clay); and his siblings, Elizabeth Ragsdale Cantrell, Jennifer Long Stanfield, Terri Byrd (Paul), Frank Ragsdale, Coy Turner, III (Dione), Steven Long and Joel Long (Marcela). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in honor of Chris be made to Eastside Elementary School in Brooksville, Florida at 27151 Roper Road, Brooksville, Florida 34602.
