With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley E. Harper of Wesley Chapel, Florida, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kurt Shirley and Mary Gries Shirley (Scott); her husband Harold Harper; and her daughter Debra Steiner. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stephen Steiner (Heather) of Eagleville, PA and Lisa Steiner of Eugene, OR; and her great grandchildren, Brieana Steiner, Cameron Steiner and Delaney Steiner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.

“I was so saddened today to see the notice of Shirley’s passing. Not only did I know her from being 20+ Resident of Lexington Oaks, but Shirley and I worked together for some time back in Tampa (approximately 1989) at Shearson Lehman Mortgage, so I have known her for over 30 years. I actually spent some time with her at the pool about a month ago and enjoyed our time together. Again, so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your loved ones.
