She was predeceased by: her husband Danilo Marrero. She is survived by: her daughters, Isabel Marrero and Lourdes M. Corona (Hector Corona); her grandson Matthew Corona; and her brother Jose Elias Seife.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request a donation in her name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
