Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center & Hillcrest Memorial ParkBret Eugene Shoup, age 62, unexpectedly left us on November 24, 2023. He was a loving father, caring husband, dutiful son, and steadfast brother.
Bret was born to Edward and Roberta on December 16, 1960, and was raised in Virginia. He served in the Military and then went on to develop careers in the Fishing Industry and in Hospitality Management. A sports enthusiast and epicurean, Bret was often found putting together a feast on Sunday ahead of watching his beloved Washington Redskins play football.
He cared deeply about his family and friends and while he may not always have stayed in touch, in his heart, his love for them was everlasting.
The world is darker in his absence.
Bret is survived by his parents Edward & Diane Shoup and Roberta & Morris Ray Smith, his mother-in-law Sabira Atul Modi, his wife Nisha, his son Jordan, his brothers Michael & Stuart, his sisters-in-law Dianne & Melody, and their families.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 3:00pm EST on December 13, 2023, at the Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33406.
