He is survived by: his children, Latoya Bunche, Anita Holmes (Larry), Lanny Sims and Britton Sims, Jr. (Sharon); his siblings, Sheik Kinnie "Buster" Poitier-El, Doris Newton, Bernice Darling (William), Elnora "Chico" Hill (William Jr.) and Jeannette Anderson; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Addison (Deveren Jr.), Curtis Bunche Jr., Xavier Bunche, Ja'Shon Sims, Rayneisha Saunders, Trineisha Saunders, Lakayla Sims and Jasmine Sims. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
