He is survived by: his close friend Myrna Berman; his children, Cindy Coates (Jim), Leslie Conover (Chris) and Patrick O'Brien; his grandchildren, Tyler Coates (Sarah), Josh Coates (Danielle), Alexis Coates Heatherly (James), Christian Conover, Zachary Conover and Hunter Conover (Isabella); his great grandchildren, Trevor, Faith, Gabe Coates, Hudson, Parker Coates and Lillian Conover; his sister Joan Hausman; and his half-brother Russ Ruskay.
