She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Riggins and Lizzie Riggins; her husband Ulysses Carr; her daughter Theresa Carr Miller (Melvin); and her son-in-law Melvin Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Jane Riggins, Johnny Riggins and Earlene Riggins; her former husband Charles Dodson; her granddaughter Elizabeth; her daughter Jacqueline Carr; her great grandchildren, Trajan Wright (Passion) of Chicago, IL and Tanzie Wright of Tamarac, FL; her siblings, Ollie Mae Benjamin of Mon, Charlie Riggins (Ellen) of Atlan and Paul Johnson of Jacksonville, FL.; her friend Sister Rose O'Neal; and her close friend Fannie Woodson (Aaron Tookes). She is also survived by godson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends.
