He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rochelle; his children, David Sherman (Kathleen), Lisa Schapiro (Ken) and Steven Sherman (Leah); and his parents, Joseph Sherman and Ida Sherman. He was also cherished by his five grandchildren.
