He is survived by: his children, John Jr., Gwendolyn Ann (Greg) and Bruce Edward (Carla); his grandchildren, Sharon Moore, Kendall Fleming (Zan), Ciara Bellamy (Maurice), Aunjanae Foster, Blake Napier Bruce Fleming Jr. (Whitley) and Kayla Fleming-Orman (Cameron); his siblings-in-law, Cora Boyer (AB) of Brooklyn, NY, Earlene McCarthy of Newark, NJ, Nellie McCarthy of Newark, NJ, Maudie McCarthy-Green of Eufaula Alabama, Annie McCarthy-Byrd, Fulton McCarthy, Charley McCarthy and John L McCarthy; his nieces and nephews, Shirley Hanks-Eppinger and Braxton Fleming; and his close friends, Arron and Mary Wallace.
