He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Fennell and Julia Fennell; his wife Ann M. Fennell; his sister Julia Gannon (Jimmy); his grandson Danny Todd; and his in-laws, Thomas and Margaret Feely.
He is survived by: his daughters, Annmarie (Chuck Todd) and Danielle (Jon Fullick); his grandchildren, Charlie Todd, Jack Todd, Katie Fullick and Jillian Fullick; his brothers, Bill (Geri) and Dennis (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Nolan, Jean Schmitz (Bill), Joseph Feely (Pat) and Bobby Feely. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
