He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Brooks and Mary Louisa McCants; his siblings, Elam, George McCants, Martha Smith, Mary Schratt and Jack McCants (Kay); his siblings' children, Christopher Brooks McCants (Amy), Kevin Elam McCants (Jaime) and Melissa McCants Caldwell (Kelly); his grandchildren, Bella (JP), Zoie, Lary Brooks, Zachary and Chase; and his great grandchild Jayce.
