He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gries Witzel; his children, Heather Witzel and Rob Witzel (Marian); his grandchildren, Hannah Roth, Richard "Ricky" Roth, Ryan Witzel and Kathleen Ryan; and his siblings, Penny Cahill, Richard Witzel and Linda Witzel.
