He was predeceased by: his father Roy Cooper (Billie); his stepfather Ralph Gilley; and his stepson Jared Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Jeanette" Cooper; his mother Inez Gilley; his sister Lynda Cooper McMonigle; his half-sisters, Debbie and Robin; his stepsister Cathy; his children, Crystal Jones (Stephen) and Mickey Cooper Jr.; his stepchildren, Cheyenne Blue and Gregory Hutto (Amber); and his uncle H. M. "Buddy" Hutto. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church (2167 Newton Rd, Westville, FL 32464). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
