We announce the death of Paula Wingate Strickland of Wewahitchka, Florida, born in Port Saint Joe, Florida, who passed away on September 18, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Strickland; and her parents, Iduma Wingate and Sterling Preston Wingate. She is survived by: her sons, Cody and Levi Strickland; and her sisters, Phyllis Wingate and Cyndi Ellzey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her animals.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Beach Baptist Chapel (311 Columbus St, Port St Joe, FL 32456). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Paula can be made to Beach Baptist Chapel (311 Columbus Street, Port St. Joe, FL 23456).
