She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Fitzwater and Leola Fitzwater (Wood); her spouse Dr. Bennie S. Truax; and her brother Daniel "Bud" Fitzwater. She is survived by: her sons, Todd Truax (Amy) and Timothy Truax (Anita); her granddaughters, Chelsea Truax, Kirsten Ditzler (Todd) and Ashley Truax-Davis (Trey); her great grandchildren, Boone Truax and Henry Ditzler; her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" Fitzwater; her sibling's children, Denice Williams (Boyd) and Dennis Fitzwater (Brandi); and her great-nephew Caleb Fitzwater (Skylar).
