He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Tari, Tim (Debbie) and Kristin (Steve); his grandchildren, Sean, Brendan, Zachary and Kailey; and his great grandchildren, McKenna Sue and Jace. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James's honor can be made to the Legacy Fund of Crossings Christian Church.
