It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Waelti of Wildwood, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Waelti (Greffin) and Edward Douglas Waelti. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Fitzgerald (Geri); his daughters, Marrette Winters (Jeff) and Joy Adams (Jason); his grandchildren, William, Catherine (Dustin), Siena, Megan, Lauren and Thomas; his great grandchild Evelyn Grace; and his sister Annette Schwieger. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A reception was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel (410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
