He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter McGuinness and Maggie McGuinness; his wife Ellen; his sons, Billy Dixon, Stuart McGuinness and Kenneth Dixon; and his son-in-law Jonathan Rebstad.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary, Josie, Lettie and Richard; and his children, Alan McGuinness (Alicia) of Richmond, VA and Paula Rebstad of Wildwood, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
