He was predeceased by: his mother Yvonne Groover Meeks of Bronson, Florida.; his siblings, Lisa Shuman and Jeff Jerrels; and his grandparents, Lawrence Jackson, Nora Mae Geiger Meeks, Charles Burnie and Catherine Fleeman Groover.
He is survived by: his children, Lane, Brighton Meeks of Morriston, Florida, Harley Meeks of Bronson, Florida and Charlie Meeks; and his sisters, Leann Meeks of Ft. Worth, Texas, Lori Conquest (Arthur) of Bronson, Florida and Patty Jerrels of Bronson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellzey United Methodist Church (1450 Co Rd 336, Chiefland, FL 32626). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
