He was predeceased by: his wife Merita Jane Clary; and his daughters, Frances Carole Basing and Tamara Michelle Clary Jackson (Thomas Edward Jackson). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Perry Clary (Rosie), John Edward Clary (Sandy), Sarah Ann Still (Bob), Mary Lee Costa (Sam), Dolly Lucille Stevens, Frances Charlene Smith (Jim) and Susan Anette Barley (James); and his close friend Sally Powell.
