She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Martinez and Maria Sepulveda; her brothers, Esuebio, Frank and Vicente Martinez; and her godmother Caroline Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Alvarez (Kim), Theresa Alvarez (Paula) and Olivia Alvarez (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Tevin, Merinna, Sebastian, Amelia, Brandyn, DeShayla and Amya; her great grandchildren, Easton, Avree, Romelo, James and Ava; and her siblings, Nicolasa Garcia, Arthur Martinez and Leon Frazier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
