As Shirley Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley Ann. Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stalans and Laura Stalans; her husband Richard Branson Sr.; and her sisters, Juanita Bass (RJ) and Doris Branson (JW).
She is survived by: her children, Richard Branson (Valarie), Clarence "Bobby" Branson (Leslie), Karen Whitehurst (Mike) and Rodger Branson (Mary). She is also survived by Her Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Joppa Baptist Church (7530 NW 165th St, Trenton, FL 32693).
