As we bid Mary Katherine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Katherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Sullivan and Nellie Sullivan (Stover); her spouse Colonel George William Sparks; and her daughter Shelley Denton-Starbuck. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Gail "Poppy" Vincent of Springfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Matt Denton of Austin, TX and Sarah Large (Kala) of Tulsa, OK; her great grandchild Lily Large; and her stepgrandchildren, Zechariah Vincent of New York City, Levi Vincent of Springfield, IL and Travis Brown of Louisville, KY.. She is also survived by her family members "sisters" and close friends.
