He was predeceased by: his parents, Narshidas Thakrar and Manibai Thakrar. He is survived by: his wife Shakuntala Thakrar; his children, Sheena Thakrar (Daniel Irick) and Rikesh Thakrar; and his grandchildren, Connor Anjay Irick and Kiran Avery Irick.
