We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 100, Charlie Moorefield (Winter Garden, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Talmage Moorefield and Mattie Sue Haynes; his wife Dorothy Arthur Moorefield; his son Charlie Edward Moorefield; and his sisters, Opal M. Saunders, Lena M. Wooldridge, Mildred M. Midkiff, Eula M. Andrews Dillon and Hazel M. Eades.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Moorefield, Audrey M. Wilson, Patricia M. Greggs, Susan M. Thomas, Lisa M. Jones and Gina R. Moorefield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
