She is survived by: her husband Don Wheat; her parents, James Salter and Betty Salter of Pensacola, FL; her sister Gail Ewing; and her children, James Wheat, Joy Baker, Nathan Wheat and Ruth Lang. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren.
