He is survived by: his wife Edith Luz; his children, Samuel Anthony Almonte and Carmen; his grandsons, Ali, Amir and Sadiq; and his sons, Angel R, Alex and Juan Ramon. He is also survived by his sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
