He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Dugan and Loretta Dugan; his in-laws, Joseph and Concetta Silva; his siblings, Patricia Citro (Gig), Eddie Dugan, Kathleen Dugan, Mary Crider (Russell), Michael Dugan, Tim Dugan and Tony Silva; and his goddaughter Denise Dugan Gallina.

He is survived by : his wife Joan; his children, Tom (Dawn), Stephen (Alicia), Christa (Michael) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Sean (Stephanie), Ian (Raye), Reagan, Jack (Brandyn), Ryan (Kylie), Collin (Anastasia), Declan, Bronwyn and Brice; his great grandchild Elliana; and his siblings, Jack Dugan (Pat), Ann Baldus, Peggy Silva, Jes Silva (Evey) and Rose George (Bill). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
