Barbara Jean Dennis Obituary
We announce the death of Barbara Jean Dennis of Winter Haven, Florida, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 84. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Meredith and Charlotte Meredith (Ritzert); her husband Larry Dennis; and her siblings, Dora Casteel, Darrell Meredith, Linda Coultas, Rick Meredith, Carolyn Evans and Rodney Meredith.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle "Shelley" Holder (Mark); and her grandsons, Nicholas Holder and Zachary Holder.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
