“I just heard of Gerald's passing. I remember him well from high school. He and I were the Dade County Men's Doubles Badminton Champions in our senior year. He and I were good friends and I will always remember him as a vibrant young devilish badminton player. My mother was bedridden with Parkinson's for several of the last years of her life so I am well aware of how debilitating this disease can be. They are both in a better place. Gerald was loved and is still remembered fifty plus years later.”
