It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Earl Thomas of Winter Haven, Florida, born in Eagle Lake, Florida, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Thomas and Mittie Denton Thomas; and his siblings, Douglas Thomas, Wanda Kirkland and John Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Irma Thomas; and his children, Marcie Crawford (Bobby), Allen Thomas (Kathy), Phil Thomas (Sue), Katrinka Powers and Wayne Thomas (Dottie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
