She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Odeneal of Winter Haven, Glenda Fields of Winter Haven, Betty Kirby of Winter Haven, Richard Owens of Winter Haven, Kathy Pitts of Alturas, Barbara Thompson of Wahneta and Rocky Owens of Brazil, Indiana.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it was Hazel's wish for donations to be directed to her church, Wahneta Tabernacle of Praise, PO Box 163, Winter Haven, Florida 33880.
