He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Jean Lawrence; his parents, Otis Lawrence and Lela Lawrence; and his brothers, William "Boots" Lawrence, Doyle Lawrence, Bill Lawrence and Charles Lawrence.
He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Feathers; his sister Barbara Summers; his grandson Jamie Orth (Ajia); his great grandchildren, Juliana Cooper (Trey), Jaden Orth and Joeci Orth; and his niece Tracy Hagger.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home (2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in James' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
