She is survived by: her husband Donald "Chonk" Kern; her sons, James Kosek (Melissa) of Cary, NC and Scott A. Kosek Sr. (LeDawn) of Wintersville, OH; her stepdaughter Debra Mills (Roger) of Weirton, WV; her grandsons, Scott A. Kosek Jr. (Samantha), Shane Kosek (Hailey) and Joshua Kosek; her great grandchildren, Rowan and Rhett Kosek; her sister Maureen Woods (James); her nephew John Woods (Lorraine); and her niece Edna Burgess (U. K.) of Tillicoultry.
She possessed a profound heart for children and the underprivileged, faithfully organizing and donating to back-to-school drives as well as holiday food, toy, and clothing collections.
