He was predeceased by : his parents, James L. Thompson and Ruby L. Thompson; and his sister Marian Sassard. He is survived by : his caregiver Carolyn Ann Sherwin; his wife Carolyn Ann; and his siblings, Evelyn Melton of Tallahassee, FL and Clyde Thompson of Winter Haven, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
