He is survived by: his children, Andrea Merricks and Lyndon Merricks, Jr.; and his siblings, Juliet Turner, Sherman Merricks, Leon Merricks, Robert Merricks, Herbert Merricks and Beverly Merrick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Worship Center (2520 Bishop James Cochran Wy, Winter Haven, FL 33881).
